Mubadala
Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), signed an agreement with Operation Smile UAE, to sponsor international volunteering missions in 2023 and 2024.
The agreement was signed by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and member of the board of OSUAE, and Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO and Chief Corporate and Human Capital Officer at Mubadala, in the presence of H.H. Sheikha Alyazia bint Saif Al Nahyan, Founder, Chair of the Board and Patron of Operation Smile UAE, and wife of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi have been supporters of Operation Smile UAE since 2017 when we held our first mission in the UAE there. They have since supported six more surgical programs. Providing facilities and medical volunteers, allowing us to provide free and safe surgeries to more than 50 patients.
Healthpoint Abu Dhabi have been supporters of Operation Smile UAE since 2020, since then they have since supported six surgical programs.

Appolonia World for Orthodonitics and Pediatric Dentistry
In October 2022 Operation Smile UAE signed an MOU with Appolonia World for Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry. Appolonia is supporting us by providing free dental and orthodontic care to some of our young patients. Several dentists and orthodontists from Appolonia have also attended patient screenings to help asses the dental health of our patients in the UAE.
Appolonia supported OSUAE by sponsoring our Cycle for Smiles event held at Hudayriyat Island in November 2022.
Department of Health Abu Dhabi have been supporting Operation Smile UAE since our inception in 2011. DOH has allowed us to provide surgeries for patients here in the UAE and their hardworking staff provide assistance with granting the temporary licenses our out of country medical volunteers require to work in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Kahlifa Medical City hospital has supported all our missions in the UAE, acting as the pediatric emergency, on call, facility for our young patients during our mission weekends.
Marriott Hotels in Abu Dhabi have supported Operation Smile UAE by providing complementary accommodation for some of our medical volunteers. They have also provided discounted rooms for some of our patient’s families who need a place to stay overnight while their child is at the hospital. Marriott also volunteer staff to help us during the Charity Book Sale in Al Wahda Mall.
DHL Abu Dhabi have supported Operation Smile UAE since 2011 the staff donates their time to help us deliver items to our patients throughout the UAE. They also volunteer staff to help us during the Charity Book Sale in Al Wahda Mall.
Mace have been one of our most active corporate supporters, organizing the Smile Games and holding in office fund raisers. Mace also helps us with transporting books for our Charity Book Sale in Al Wahda Mall; as well as allowing their staff to volunteer during our Charity Book Sale.
